Lightjet 5000 prints are the highest caliber photographic prints available today. These continuous tone “real” photographs can be imaged directly from your digital file or digitized and printed from film or other media. The sharpness and quality is second to none. They are suited for fine art photography, tradeshow graphics, point of purchase displays, etc. Send us your prepared and profiled files or let our skilled technicians scan, prep, profile and print them for you.

We use Fuji material exclusively for all our matte, gloss, Supergloss, Pearl, & transparency printing. Fuji Film released in 1992 a breakthrough new emulsion technology, that enables Fuji to safely claim four times the light keeping dye stability of any rival RA4 display products and twice the dye stability of any P3X azo dye products. FROM DIGITAL FILE:

PREFERRED/REPRINT LIGHTJET PRINTS- (from TIFF files converted to our printer space and ready to print) This service is for clients who are familiar with working in a calibrated color environment and are able to set up their files to our printing specifications. This service is also for clients who have previously had Lightjet prints made at Calypso and can provide the Calypso profiled files. We can archive your file here at a cost of .11/MB for easy reordering.
To Qualify for this Pricing:
1.  Must be a raster file (Photoshop tiff, RGB, 8bit)
2.  File must be converted to Calypso Lightjet ICC profile for the print surface of your choice.
3.  Use "Adobe 1998" or "Ektaspace" as your working space.
4.  Any borders need to be created in the file's "canvas". Use a 4 pixel black stroke mark around the image to show us where to trim the print.
5.  File must be saved as a RGB uncompressed TIFF format, 8bits per channel, no extra channels or paths, and saved in a landscape (horizontal) orientation.

MANAGED LIGHTJET PRINTS - (From files with no printer profile applied) This category is for customers with digital files (camera or scan) not set up for printing. With this service we will set up, rip if necessary, profile your file and make Lightjet output to size. ("Raw" and/or profiled print files can be burned to a CD for $6.60 and/or archived here at a cost of .11/MB for easy reordering). The success of this service depends on the quality of your file. We strongly recommend that you order and inspect an 8x10 proof print of your file before authorizing us to make final prints.  Proof/print 8" x 10" pricing varies by the material requested. If you have a deadline please remeber to calculate proof print shipping time and cost. Additional prints from the set up file, will be eligible for reprint pricing.

WHEN WORKING DIRECTLY WITH OUR TECHNICIANS:

PROFESSIONAL LIGHTJET PRINTS-This category is for customers with digital files or film and who want to work directly with our master technicians. (Film will require scanning on our high-end superb Tango drum scanner. Please order a scan large enough to accommodate the very largest print that you can foresee requiring. Larger scans will enable you to order a single scan with enough resolution for all image sizes). Files will be set up, ripped if necessary, profiled, minor global color/density corrections made, an 8x10 proof print provided to you and on approval of the proof a Lightjet print to your required size will be made. The ready to print file will be returned to you on CD/DVD and the file will be archived at Calypso at no additional charge.
